Course Information

This is an orientation web site not the course web site. Students registered in the course will be able to logon to the course web site on or after August 15, 2008.

Note the time and room for the orientation meeting was changed to Tuesday August 19, 2008, 4:00PM - 5:30PM, in M104, LAC campus. Be sure to update your email address at http://www.lbcc.edu/ole.html. If there are any further changes I will email and advise you.

The orientation meeting is optional, but highly recommended if you haven't taken an online course using WebCT.

You need to logon to the course web site (after August 15, 2008) before coming to the optional orientation meeting, if you have problems logging on email me after August 15, 2008.

You should allow about 12 hours per week for this course. The course was designed using WebCT; this is not the same format as most of the online classes taught at LBCC, students who have used both have preferred the WebCT format.

I'm sorry but because of the time demands for teaching this class effectively, I don't accept any petitioners after the class is full.
